Our Story
Deirdre Gilbert is a US-based entrepreneur and creative director with a passion for celebrating women who create real change in the world. Driven by the belief that impact has no age limit, Deirdre founded W.O.M.A.N. — a luxury footwear brand that honors women from 25 to 85 who lead, inspire, and break barriers every single day.
What started as a concept became a complete brand: a limited-edition luxury sneaker collection where every letter in the name carries a deliberate meaning — Willpower, Originality, Movement, Audacity, and Now. The W.O.M.A.N. shoe is not just footwear. It is a statement, a celebration, and a movement.
Deirdre developed the full brand identity from the ground up — including the concept, name, acronym, colorway, silhouette, materials specification, packaging design, and go-to-market strategy.
